15-year-old girl arrested after Moore Street attack

The attack left the Chinese woman in her late 20s with facial injuries.

A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL was arrested yesterday evening after an attack on a Chinese national.

The attack, which happened on Dublin’s Moore Street, left the Chinese woman in her late 20s with facial injuries, which required medical treatment.

It is believed that the incident occurred at around 5pm in a business on the busy street.

It is understood that the victim is a staff member in the shop and was attacked by the teenager who was with a group of friends.

Gardaí could not confirm the nationality of the victim, but did confirm that a youth had been arrested at the scene of a suspected assault and taken to Store Street Garda station, where she was later released.
