16-year-old boy injured in Dublin drive-by shooting

The victim has been brought to St James’s Hospital, but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

A TEENAGER HAS been injured in a shooting in Dublin this evening.

The 16-year-old was taken to St. James’s Hospital following the gun attack on the Lismore Road in Crumlin at about 9pm. The boy was standing on the street outside a house when a number of shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The car is understood to be a black-coloured saloon.

His injuries were described by a Garda spokesperson as not life-threatening.

Investigating Gardaí said the scene is sealed off for forensic and technical examinations.
