29-year-old arrested and charged with 2009 Tallaght murder

The man is the third person charged with the murder.

A 29-YEAR-OLD MAN has been arrested over a 2009 murder in Dublin.

Seamus ‘Shay’ O’Byrne was shot in front of his wife and baby in the Tymon Park estate of Tallaght on March 13, 2009.

Two men have already been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, which was reportedly over a drug debt.

The third man was arrested in the Dundalk area this afternoon and is due to appear before District Court 2 Criminal Courts of Justice this evening.
