LONG-RANGE WEATHER forecasting service for Ireland, The Meteo Times, received hundreds of photographs from readers over the past year and it has kindly sent some of the best submissions to TheJournal.ie so we can enjoy their beauty.
Capturing everything from that spell of sunshine in March (remember?) to thunderstorms in July and ice in December, these photographs across the country remind us just how wonderful this island can be, despite the rain.
Kyle Malee captured this photograph of his dog Indiana while trekking up the Hawks Rock at Coolaney in Sligo.
On 24 August, Yvette O’Beirne snapped her two young ones in Wicklow, ‘walking through fields, trying to find the sun before the holidays end’.
In early October, this amazing image of the moon and Jupiter shining over a misty Robe River in Mayo was taken by Ronan Newman.
Earlier this month, Fiona Windsor submitted this photo of the Round Tower at Glendalough in Wicklow.
