38-year-old woman killed in Galway crash

The woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving collided with a wall in Menlough in Galway.

A 38-YEAR-OLD woman has been killed in a road traffic collision in Galway.

The woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving collided with a wall at Colemanstown, Menlough, in Co Galway yesterday afternoon.

She had been the only occupant of the car.

Gardaí are investigating the cause of the crash. The road was still closed late last night to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision examination.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Gardaí at Ballinasloe on 090 – 963 1890, the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
