77-year-old arrested over Limerick stabbing

A younger man is in a serious condition in hospital after last night’s incident.

GARDAÍ IN BRUFF are investigating the circumstances of a stabbing that took place in county Limerick yesterday evening.

A 77-year-old man has been arrested and detained in relation to the violence at a public house in Hospital at about 6.10pm Friday.

He is being questioned under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The injured man is 45-years-old and remains in Limerick Regional Hospital in what has been described as a serious condition.
