8. #HACKED: Meanwhile, the websites of three Dublin gyms have been targeted overnight by an Islamist hacking group.

9. #GLIMMER OF HOPE: Some parts of the country might be lucky enough to avoid the rain this weekend. Heavy downpours are expected along the Atlantic coast, but the north and south are likely to remain “mainly dry”.
