PHOTOS: Teens queue as Abercrombie and Fitch store opens its doors in Dublin

Yes, it’s only a shop – but don’t tell that to the large group who queued in the cold just to be among the first to enter the Abercrombie and Fitch store.

A GROUP OF (mostly) teenagers braved low temperatures and a biting wind on a Dublin street just to be among the first to enter the Abercrombie and Fitch store when it opened its doors on Dame Street this afternoon.

The shop, the first outlet of the US clothing store to open in Ireland, has taken over the building formerly occupied by Habitat before it went bust.

The large group queued patiently outside the shop before the doors were opened by staff, two of whom duly waved to the crowd and posed for photographs before allowing punters to enter the store.
