Man charged in connection with disappearance of Adrian Folan

He will appear before a special sitting of Galway District Court this evening.

GARDAÍ IN GALWAY have charged a man in connection with the disappearance of Adrian Folan.

The 41-year-old went missing earlier this month. he was last seen in Athlone town on the night of 3 July.

His body was found yesterday at a quarry close to the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

The man, aged in his 40s, charged by gardaí was scheduled to appear before a Special Sitting of Galway District Court this evening at 7.30pm.

RTÉ News reports that the man is the deceased’s brother, and has been charged with murder.
