COULD ALGAE BE the fuel of the future? That’s what student Amy O’Donoghue wanted to find out.

Her experiment on how algae can produce an alternative source of fuel led her to suggest that it could be used as an alternative to the already diminishing fossil fuels.

Here’s what the St Andrew’s College student found:
