On this night in 1998 you were listening to... All Saints

A Friday flashback to get your weekend started…

COMBAT TROUSERS, CROP tops and the two American sisters who we couldn’t tell apart: world, meet late 1990s girl band All Saints.

In this, their 1998 cover of a Red Hot Chili Peppers track, they tried to show that their musical pedigree ran deeper than your average girl band.

The band formed in 1993, and split in 2001 before being reunited from 2006 – 2009. Though all of the members made attempts at solo careers, they never really reached the heights that they did together.

No matter, because the band’s back catalogue is chock full of stonking 90s hits. All Saints, we salute you.
