Ambulance involved in three-car accident in Derry

Nine people were hospitalised following the crash, which involved a number of cars.

AN AMBULANCE WAS involved in a crash that occurred in Derry yesterday evening.

The PSNI stated that it received a report at around 3.25pm yesterday afternoon of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the Dunhill Road, Macosquin, near the Drumcroone Roundabout.

The BBC reports that an ambulance was bringing a patient to the Altnagelvin hospital when the crash occurred.

Nine people were taken to hospital following the crash, but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
