Missing man Andrew Quigley (20) PSNI

Concern over man (19) who failed to return home after night out

Andrew Quigley failed to return home on Friday night. Items belonging to him were found on the Foyle Bridge yesterday.

POLICE AND THE family of Andrew Quigley (19) have said they are becoming increasingly concerned for him after he failed to return home from a evening out in Co Derry two days ago.

He went out on Friday 17 January and was last seen in the Gallagh/Shantallow areas of Derry at around 2am on Saturday 18 January.

Items belonging to Andrew Quigley, including a mobile phone, were found on the Foyle Bridge at around 7.40am on Saturday morning.

The missing man is described as being about 6ft 2″ tall and of medium build. Police say he was wearing blue jeans, a navy striped t-shirt and a black and purple jacket when he was last seen.

He also has a distinctive Celtic-style tattoo on the back of his right forearm.

Anyone who saw Andrew Quigley over the weekend, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact Strand Road station on 0845 600 8000.
