Poll: Would you take antibiotics that weren't prescribed for you?

A warning has been issued this morning that the misuse of the drugs is leading to the rise of superbugs.

THE WORLD HEALTH Organisation has warned that the misuse of antibiotics is contributing to the rise of superbugs.

Medical professionals warn patients to be aware of when antibiotics are needed, and to only take ones prescribed for them.

However, this misuse continues, with antibiotics being taken in the assumption that they can treat non-bacterial infections such as viruses, and leftover tablets being shared with others.

We want to know about your own experience: Would you take antibiotics that weren’t prescribed for you?

Poll Results:

No (3932)
Yes (2244)
I don't know (208)
