Appeal for witnesses to assault on man found in derelict hotel

The injured man in his late 40s was discovered at a derelict hotel in Rosslare on Friday afternoon.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses to an assault on a man who was found at a derelict hotel in Rosslare, Co Wexford last Friday.

The man in his late 40s was seriously assaulted and discovered at a derelict hotel at St Helen’s in Rosslare, Co Wexford at around 2pm on Friday afternoon.

He was taken to Wexford General Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí are asking for anyone with any information or who may have been in the St Helen’s area between the early hours of Friday morning and 2pm that afternoon to contact them at Wexford Garda station on 053 916 5200.
