Appeal for witnesses to Enniskerry shooting

A man has been hospitalised following the shooting.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for witnesses to come forward following a shooting in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A man was left with serious but non-life threatening injuries after he was shot shortly before 1am on Thursday morning.

The man, in his early 30s, appealed for help to people living in Kilgarron Heights in Enniskerry and was taken to St Vincent’s hospital where his injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses in the area around the time of the incident to contact them at Bray Garda station on 01 666 5300
