#Aras11 diary: Where the candidates will be today

With just days to go until polling, time is running out if you want to meet the presidential candidates. Here’s where they are today.

AS THE CAMPAIGN for the presidential election hits the home stretch, check out where you can meet the candidates today.

All seven candidates will participate in two debates today: there’s a Newstalk debate being broadcast from Google HQ on Barrow St, Dublin, beginning at noon; later, the candidates will head to RTÉ for the debate on The Frontline which begins at 9:35pm.

Seán Gallagher has no other public events for the day, spending the day conducting meetings with his regional campaign teams.

Michael D Higgins will head to Tallaght to visit An Cosán, the Kiltalown Village Centre at Jobstown in Tallaght at 3pm, before heading to St Dominic’s Community Centre for 3:30pm.

Martin McGuinness has no public engagements other than the two debates.

Gay Mitchell will stay in Ringsend, visiting St Patrick’s NS on Cambridge Road accompanied by Eoghan Murphy TD and athlete Sonia O’Sullivan. They’ll visit the school at 2:15pm and go walkabout at 2:45pm.

Details on the other appointments of Mary Davis, David Norris and Dana Rosemary Scallon were not available at time of publication.
