IT’S BEEN AN intense few weeks for her party thanks to Brexit negotiations, so perhaps it’s no surprise to find out the DUP’s leader Arlene Foster has discovered a way to unwind during the proceedings: singing.

She’s one of the stars of Band Aid NI 2017, a new charity single initiative run by Aspire Northern Ireland.

Foster is among the many singers contributing to the recording, belting out a few bars of Mariah Carey’s classic festive tune All I Want For Christmas Is You.

You’ll find her just over 35 seconds into the video. She’s not the only famous face who took part – see if you can spot former X Factor star Eoghan Quigg and Sky’s David Blevins in the clip.

The Craigavon-based Aspire works with young people in Northern Ireland, providing after-school supervision and support, activities and tuition.
