Gardaí make arrest after death of 74-year-old man in Dublin domestic dispute

A 47-year-old man is being held in Lucan Garda Station.

A MAN IN his 40s has been arrested following the death of a 74-year-old man found injured at a house near Clondalkin on Friday evening.

The man was found at a house Rowlagh Green when gardaí were called to the scene at about 8.45 pm. The man was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries but was later pronounced dead.

Gardaí have said they believe there was a dispute at the house where he was found. A post-mortem is being held on the deceased this morning.

Yesterday evening, a 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of the man.

The man being detained was arrested in Lucan and is being held in Lucan Garda Station.

He is being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses or anyone who can insist their investigation to contact them.
