Seven men and one woman arrested over death of 20-year-old on Tallaght footbridge

Dale Creighton, who was from Tallaght, died in Beaumont Hospital after being attacked on New Year’s Day.

EIGHT PEOPLE HAVE been arrested over the death of 20-year-old Dale Creighton in Tallaght, south Dublin, on New Year’s Day this year.

The young man, who was from the area, died in Beaumont Hospital on 2 January after he was attacked on a footbridge at St. Dominic’s Road.

An inquest later determined he died as a result of blunt-force trauma.

The seven men and one woman — all aged in their 20s — were arrested this morning.

They’ve all been charged, and will appear before Tallaght District Court at 10.30am.
