Three men arrested for dissident republican activity in Dundalk

Gardaí said the arrests were made as part of a cross border operation with the PSNI.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested for dissident republican activity in Dundalk.

Gardaí said the arrests were made as part of ongoing investigations and cross border cooperation with the PSNI into criminal activity by dissidents.

The three, who range in age from early 20s to mid 50s, are being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

The arrests took place last night in the Carrickcarnon area of Dundalk.
