ARTHUR COLLINS, THE boyfriend of reality TV star Ferne McCann, has been arrested in connection with an acid attack in an east London nightclub earlier this month.

The incident left two people partially blinded and others disfigured.

Collins (25) was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northants last night by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime & Operations and Hackney Borough, with the assistance of armed officers.

Collins has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The Metropolitan Police said he will be taken into custody at a London police station in due course.

The investigation began after police were called to Mangle nightclub on Sidworth Street in Dalston, at 1.10am on Easter Monday, 17 April, after members of the public complained of a noxious substance.

McCann, who stars in The Only Way is Essex, previously released a statement urging Collins to cooperate with police.
