Gardaí investigate raid on Permanent TSB cash machine in Wicklow

Gardaí said it is not yet clear how much cash was taken in the raid.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a raid on an ATM in Wicklow.

The theft occurred at 4.20am this morning at a branch of Permanent TSB in Greystones. The cash machine was extensively damaged.

Gardaí said it is not yet clear how much cash was taken in the raid but reports suggest it could be as much as €100,000.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and investigations are ongoing.
