Teenager shot in both legs in paramilitary-style attack

The 18-year-old was shot three times in his right leg and twice in his left in the attack, which happened late last night.

POLICE IN DERRY are appealing for information after a teenager was shot in the legs in a paramilitary-style attack.

It happened last night at around 11.20pm in the Rathlin Driver area.

The 18-year-old was shot three times in his right leg and twice in his left. He was rushed taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The teenager’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with any information about is being asked asked to contact Strand Road Police Station on the PSNI’s non-emergency number ’101′.
