Man arrested over attempted murder of 3 police officers

The 26-year-old was arrested in Belfast last night, hours after the incident.

A MAN IN his mid-twenties has been arrested over the attempted murder of three police officers in Northern Ireland.

Detectives from the PSNI serious crime branch investigating the attempted murder of three PSNI officers in the Foxes Glen area of Dunmurry have arrested a 26-year-old man.

The man has been taken to Antrim serious crime suite for questioning.

A number of searches took place in the greater Belfast area yesterday.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them in Dunmurry on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, you can give information anonymously by phoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
