Woman in her late 40s arrested after bag of heroin seized in raid

The heroin had an estimated value of €150,000.

A WOMAN IN her late 40s was arrested after heroin with an estimated value of €150,000 was seized in Dublin last night.

The seizure was made following the planned search of a premises in Lucan at around 11pm.

The woman was arrested at scene. She is currently being held at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí say the search was part of ongoing investigations being conducted into serious criminal activity in the west Dublin area.

Officers attached to the Special Crime Task Force, Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau were involved in the raid.
