Adult and child treated for smoke inhalation after Dublin fire

Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade were sent to attend the incident at 1am this morning.

TWO ADULTS AND one child were taken from a fire in an apartment in Balbriggan, Dublin, in the early hours of this morning.

The alarm was raised at 1am at the apartment on Landy’s Court, Millstreet and the Dublin Fire Brigade was called to assist. Five units of the fire brigade and two ambulances were sent to the scene.

The child was taken to Temple Street Hospital and one of the adults was taken to Beaumont Hospital, both suffering smoke inhalation.
