Bank of Ireland customers can access their accounts again after being locked out

The bank has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Updated 4pm

THERE WERE LOTS of frustrated Bank of Ireland customers today who were locked out of their accounts when they tried to access them on their phones and online.

Now it appears the problem has been fixed with customers who reported the problem on Twitter saying they have been able to log-in.

The app and website were both blocking people from accessing their accounts for hours earlier, as some customers reported they were being told their log-in details were incorrect.

The bank has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
