Bank of Ireland says all customers should now have wages in their accounts

The bank has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Updated 9.30 pm

BANK OF IRELAND has confirmed that all customer accounts impacted by today’s delay in payments have now been credited.

The bank apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers who reported that their wages had not been paid.

It had assured customers earlier in the day that they would not be out of pocket as a result of the problem.

A processing delay is believed to have been responsible for the issue.

Irate customers had been contacting Bank of Ireland all day, causing #BankofIreland to trend on Twitter.
