Being Irish 'is a badge of honour': A Patrick's Day message from the Taoiseach

Tomorrow is a chance to celebrate “everything it really means to be Irish” says Enda Kenny.

THE TAOISEACH ENDA Kenny has delivered a St Patrick’s Day message to the people of Ireland ahead of the festivities taking place across the world this weekend.

In the message posted on MerrionStreet.ie, he tells us that tomorrow is a day when the world goes green and notes that it is “a chance to celebrate everything it really means to be Irish”.

As for the government itself, Kenny informs us that it “will be very busy selling the message that our country is open for business” and added that “this message will be spread very widely”.
