Three teens taken to hospital after swimming accident

Two are said to be in a stable condition.

THREE TEENAGERS WERE taken to hospital this evening after a swimming accident near an apartment complex in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

A garda spokesperson said emergency services were called to the scene at Waterville Hall at around 6.15pm. The three teens, all aged around 13 years, were taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

The boy is said to be in a critical condition in hospital.

A girl whose condition was previously described as critical is now stable, while the second girl is not believed to have been seriously injured and is also in a stable condition.

Gardaí are investigating the incident.
