Stunt actor shot dead during Australian hip-hop band's video shoot

Police are investigating.

A STUNT ACTOR was shot dead in a tragic incident during a video shoot for an Australian hip-hop band.

Bliss N Eso were filming their latest music video in Brisbane when the incident occurred.

In a statement, the band said they were “incredibly saddened” by what occurred.

Though they were not on set at the time, the trio said they were “extremely upset and shaken up by this”.

The Courier Mail said that the man who died was from the Gold Coast and was a “seasoned stunt double”.

Brooklyn Standard, the venue at which the incident took place, said in a Facebook statement that police were investigating the incident.

The venue had been hired for use out of hours.

“We would like everyone to know that none of our staff were involved in the incident and everyone is safe, and we are doing everything we can to help the police investigation at this time,” they said.
