A GROUP THAT claims to be associated with Islamic State posted warnings to the Obamas in a Twitter account hack earlier today.

Newsweek saw their account compromised for almost half an hour this morning by ‘Cyber Caliphate’.

This group previously claimed responsibility for hacking the website of Malaysia Airlines and a military Twitter account.

After changing the profile’s account and header image, tweets were posting containing leaked documents from the Defence Cyber Investigations Training Academy, including staff structures and training certificates.

The group also warned that it is ‘watching’ Michelle Obama, as well as President Obama and their daughters, and spoke of a ‘Bloody Valentine’s Day’.

In a statement to NY Daily News, Newsweek apologised to readers and for “anything offensive that might have been sent from our account during that period”.
