Gardaí have seized a lot of equipment.

Updated at 1.40pm

ARE YOU MISSING a boat? Maybe a few outboard motors? What about a carvan?

Gardaí have launched a new appeal for owners of dozens of items like these to come forward.

A large number of items were seized following three searchers in Portlaoise over the 24 and 25 June.

This includes:

  • 74 outboard engines
  • 10 boats
  • 8 boat trailers
  • 8 trailers
  • 1 caravan
  • 2 generators

No arrests were made.

Detective Sergeant John Healy said the items could have come from all over Ireland due to the central location of the seizure.

“We’ve set up a dedicated email for people to contact us and make an appointment to view if they believe that their property is here with us,” he added. The public are asked to email portlaoise.property@garda.ie or ring 057 8674100.

Below are just some of the items seized. You can see more here.
