Do you think Bob Geldof is right to return his Freedom of Dublin award?

Geldof said he’s returning the honour in protest against the Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

MUSICIAN BOB GELDOF says he will return his Freedom of the City of Dublin award today in protest at the award also being held by Myanmar’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

In a statement, Geldof accused Suu Kyi of engaging in the “mass ethnic cleansing” of Rohingya Muslims and he in no way wants to be associated with her.

In the UK, the Freedom of Oxford was stripped from Suu Kyi last month.

So, do you think that Bob Geldof is right to return his Freedom of the City of Dublin award in protest?
