Gardaí investigate after body found in a pond in Dublin park

The body of the man believed to be in his 30s was found in the early hours of this morning.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating after the body of a man was found in a Dublin park in the early hours of this morning.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found in a pond in Darndale Park in Dublin 17 at around 2.45am today.

The man has not yet been identified.

A garda spokesperson said officers in Coolock are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

It is understood that gardaí believe the death may be a personal tragedy.
