Body found at Government Buildings

Gardaí investigating after body found in Dublin city centre building last night.

A GARDA INVESTIGATION is underway after a man’s body was discovered at Government Buildings on Merrion Street in Dublin city centre last night.

RTÉ reports that the man was discovered with a gunshot wound at military police headquarters.

The man is believed to have been a member of the defence forces.

Gardaí say the man was aged in his 40s and and the body was discovered at around 11pm last night. They are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
