Post-mortem taking place on body of man found at Lower Glanmire Road

The man was found injured, and later died.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the death of a man on the Lower Glanmire Road in Cork this morning.

According to a spokesperson for the force, the man was found injured at around 8.15am today.

He subsequently died, and his body was removed to Cork University Hospital.

A post-mortem is taking place this afternoon.
