Body of man recovered from Lough Erne after boat capsizes

A boat containing six passengers capsized in the lough yesterday – five of the men were rescued last night.

THE BODY OF a missing young man has been recovered from Lough Erne, a day after the boat he was in capsized.

The man has been named by the PSNI as Lee Rogers (20), from the Enniskillen area.

There had been six people travelling in the boat, which capsized on Lough Erne yesterday afternoon.

Five of the other passengers were rescued by search teams from the RNLI lifeboats and Irish Coast Guard yesterday evening.

Police and the North West Search and Rescue team were also involved in the search, which had resumed this morning.

The five surviving passengers are in hospital.
