Body of missing man Padraig Campbell found

Padraig Campbell was last seen in Castleblaney, Co Monaghan, on 18 March.

THE BODY OF missing man Padraig Campbell, who was reported missing earlier this month, has been found.

Campbell, 37, was last seen on 18 March in Colloville, Castleblaney, Co Monaghan at around 5pm.

Gardaí have described his death as a tragic incident but say that a post mortem examination will be carried out to confirm the cause.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still appealing for anyone with information to contact the Carrickmacross Garda Station on 042 9690190, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

When last seen, Campbell was wearing a grey T-shirt, a black body warmer and blue jeans, and was in possession of a blue Toyota Avensis, registration number: HX 53 EKU.
