Body recovered from the sea off Dollymount beach in Dublin

The body was recovered by the Coast Guard on Wednesday afternoon and identified today.

THE BODY OF a man has been found off the coast of Dollymount beach in north Dublin, Gardaí have said.

The body was discovered on Wednesday afternoon with the Coast Guard recovering the body of the man from the sea at the beach in Clontarf.

Gardaí had released a description of the man, who they said was aged between 20 and 30 years old, in a bid to identify him. They have since managed to confirm the man’s identity.
