Body found in Wexford identified as 66-year-old Stacia Purcell

The woman had been missing since 30 October.

GARDAÍ HAVE IDENTIFIED the body of a woman found in New Ross, Co Wexford, yesterday, as that of 66-year-old Stacia Purcell.

The woman had been missing since 30 October. Yesterday afternoon a woman’s body was discovered in a tributary of the River Barrow and today it was identified as the missing woman.

No foulplay is suspected and a report has been sent to the coroner.
