British woman reportedly killed in bungee jump accident

AN ENGLISH WOMAN has been killed in a bungee jump accident in Spain, according to local reports.

It is believed the 23-year-old woman hit the wall of a bridge during the jump in Lanjaron, Granada.

A spokesperson for the Guardia Civil in Granada confirmed the woman’s death to the Mail Online.

“She was staying with her aunt for a few days and that relative was present when the tragedy occurred.”

The British Foreign Office also said it was investigating the reports and was ready to provide consular assistance.
