Five men arrested over burglaries in Tipperary area

A number of searches were carried out at Dublin and Carlow this morning.

FIVE MEN HAVE been arrested today in connection with organised crime and a number of burglaries in the Tipperary area.

Gardaí from Thurles, Tipperary, Carlow and Dublin carried out a number of planned searches in Dublin and Carlow this morning.

Five men, aged between 19 and 50, were arrested and are currently detained at various garda stations throughout Tipperary.

The organised crime unit, the garda dog unit and customs officials also assisted in this operation.
