20-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash along Dublin canal

It is understood the man was driving along the path beside the canal at the time.

A 20-YEAR-old man has died after crashing into a bridge along the Royal Canal in Dublin.

The incident occurred at 5pm this evening between North Strand and Spencer Dock.

It is understood the man was driving along the dirt path beside the canal at the time.

Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured in the incident.

Gardaí at Store Street are investigating.
