Four for court over €200,000 Galway cannabis haul

Cannabis growing paraphernalia was also discovered during yesterday’s raid in Ballygar.

FOUR MEN ARE due to appear before court in Galway this evening in connection with yesterday’s seizure of €200,000 worth of cannabis plants in the county.

Cannabis growing paraphernalia was also discovered in the raid at the house at Bornacurra in Ballygar.

Four men, aged 27, 31, 34 and 52, were detained.  They’ve been held for questioning since yesterday at Loughrea and Ballinasloe garda stations.

The four are due to appear at a special sitting of Loughrea District Court at 6.15pm.
