Large quantity of cannabis found hidden with frozen meat in Rosslare

REVENUE OFFICERS HAVE seized a large quantity of cannabis in Rosslare port.

The 215kg of herbal cannabis had been hidden in a consignment of frozen meat in an unaccompanied container that arrived from France.

Following routine profiling, the container was selected for scanning and the smuggled drugs were discovered. Investigations are ongoing.
