Cannabis plants worth €750k seized in Kilkenny

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the haul.

CANNABIS PLANTS WORTH an estimated €750,000 have been seized from a premises in Kilkenny.

A man in his 40s has been arrested after Gardaí discovered the haul as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in Kilkenny.

The seizure was made on Friday evening.

The man was arrested at the scene in the Glenbally Valley area of Kilkenny and is being detained at Thomastown Garda station.
