Man in his 60s arrested after cannabis found growing in Wexford house

Cannabis was found growing in the upstairs of the house with the plants estimated to have a total street value of €240,000.

A MAN HAS been arrested by gardaí after a large quantity of cannabis was seized from a house in Wexford yesterday.

The man in his 60s was arrested yesterday afternoon after gardaí were called to a house in Chapelwood, Kilmuckridge at around 3.30pm yesterday.

Cannabis was found growing in the upstairs of the house with the plants estimated to have a total street value of €240,000.

One man was arrested at the scene and taken to Enniscorthy garda station where he can be held for up to seven days.
