Two due in court over €100,000 cannabis plant seizure

Gardaí seized the plants in a planned search on Monday night.

TWO MEN ARE due in court this morning charged in connection to a cannabis plant seizure in Tulla, Co Clare on Monday.

The cannabis plants worth an estimated €100,000 were seized when gardaí carried out a search in a house in Miltown on Monday night. Objects designed to be used for the growth and cultivation of drugs were also discovered.

The two men, both aged in their early 20s, were arrested at the scene and have been held for questioning at Shannon Garda Station.

They will appear before Ennis District Court this morning at 10.30am charged in relation to the seizure.
